With the API, developers can write plugins or call web services to update events within the Team Calendar.

      Hi all,

Thanks for all of your votes and comments on this suggestion.

Unfortunately, this suggestion isn't currently on our roadmap. We do though understand the value in retaining custom event types during imports, and and will consider this suggestion at a later date.

For those of you who aren’t aware, in our Team Calendars 5.5 and 6.0 releases we brought a range of new improvements, including a fresh new look and feel, better event frequency options, and CalDAV – the ability to use Team Calendars in your favourite calendar app. For more information on these improvements, see: 5.5 release notes, and 6.0 release notes.

      Best wishes,
Jenny | Confluence Server Product Manager

We are using Team Calendars as a Release Calendar. With a growing number of microservices releasing daily it's becoming painful to update the calendar manually. At the same time we love Team Calendars look and feel, so would be more than happy if you consider taking this issue into your roadmap. It's been 13 years already!

+1, I have been waiting for this API since long time.  It would be great to have an API to manage the team calendar events.

We are trying to use Confluence calendar as a team on-call roster that would be linked with PagerDuty roster but without the API to mange it it wouldn't be feasible for us to do so.

The creation of events is an absolute chore for me currently and one that would be simple if I could script it out.

Sadly, without the API to do so, this is an administrative nightmare for me and consumes far too much of my time for a repeated process.
