We've had several requests for the ability to subscribe to a single event in team calendars. Some suggestions:

Allow an export to .ics of single event while viewing event details.
Allow a user to "Watch" a single event and get ical invitation updates
When a user gets notified of an event added they have the ability to "watch the event" to stay notified of updates.
