[CONFSERVER-50265] If there is only JIRA server don't show me the server drop-down - save some space, looks simpler

            Dear all,

It's done on master source too. I've verified on Confluence 5.3-OD-8

But there are have an issue related to JIRA server
            Steps

            • 1. Configure JIRA server: anonymous User have view/edit rights
            • 2. Link this JIRA server to Confluence (under test) with "open mode"
            • 3. Go to Calendar then Create an any JIRA issue types

            Actual:

            • Calendar not receives any data from jira server

            Expected:

            • Calendar receives data from jira server

Please refer to the attached picture

Please confirm that if this is an issue, I will create a ticket later.

            Regards
            Son Hoang

Son - not sure why this needed verifying?

My proposal, like the JIRA issues macro is that we don't show any field if there is only one JIRA server. All of our on-demand customers only have one JIRA connected so it makes no sense to show them the server field.

We should only show the user things that matter to them. if there is only one server (which is the majority use case), we should endeavour to keep our user interface as simple as possible

            Dear all,

I've verified this ticket, it works fine now on my local environment.

With the words "save some space" in ticket summary, I think the Reporter expected that we should remove this field (server drop-down).

But it shows server text field (disable)

We show the text field, this is same space with drop-down one. As my opinion, current fix is good. It let User know which JIRA Server is.

            Regards
