Thanks to Team Calendars 4.0 I now have a single calendar for my entire team, but I also have many event types (leave, travel, blog schedule etc) that I don;t always want to show in a specific context. For example, on this page I want to embed my team's calendar but only show the 'HipChat Blog Schedule' events. Currently I have to display all event types then force the viewer to turn off all other events using the calendar legend.

It would be great if I could select what event types to show in the Team Calendars macro in the Macro Browser.

Similar request so that a cumulative calendar only shows a specific event type from each team (for example travel that shows which office folks will be in if they are not in their own or release events across product lines).  Forcing a specific view and then locking the view by turning off the legend option.

Not having this option diminishes the power of subscribed calendars immensely.

Also, not having this reduces the business case for paying for Team Calendar.

I have a similar Request, here is my use-case:

I have a calendar for a Department that manages multiple Art Galleries across the Globe and have created Events-Types for each exhibition (Artist Name). In Confluence we have created Pages with the Exhibition information, and would like to include the Team-Calendar for only one Type (Artist Name). The Events of Type (Artist Name and Location) then has the information.

Is it possible to embed the same Team Calendar on multiple pages in Confluence and display different Types?

the Legend Menu seems to Remember what is hidden and what is displayed, making it very Confusing.

I was thinking along the lines of adding a Query parameter EventType to the Embed URL:

            https://_MyConfluenceServer_/display/_SpaceKey_/calendar/_UUID_?calendarName=_CalendarName*&EventType=TypeName*_

At the moment it seems that if I unselect one event type on one page, this applies only to me personally and it applies to me everywhere I see this specific calendar. The behaviour is not very clear to me (at one point I was worried I had modified the view for everyone).

An example is that I wanted to create a page that shows all leave in the division, which is shown on separate calendars for each section within the division (but same event type).

+1, this would be very helpful, for example to show PTO only.

+1. This would be especially helpful for calendars with a lot of event types.

To elaborate: Imagine a single holiday planning calendar for your entire department, comprised of 30 event types - one per workmate. The reason for this setup: Everyone can select just the event types (ie. the holidays of the workmates) one's mostly collaborating with, and hide the rest.

But sometimes you need to view the big picture. But as soon as you click the calendar title in the legend (above the event types) to show every event type - there is no easy way back. You have to individually hide every event type again.

I'd suggest to add a parameter to the Team Calendars Macro which enables you to define the event types to display, ignoring individually hidden event types. It should be possible to chose individual event types, including an option for every event type (in case new event types (ie. workmates) show up, so you don't have to always change the macro).
