We are planning the rollout of an IT Release Calendar based on Jira and Confluence for the whole company (SUVA – 3200 employee). The most important view for us is the timeline view. The following events are visible on the calendar:

            • Releases
            • Project Dates
            • Critical Business Periods
            • Holidays
            • Maintenance Weekends
            • Back placements
            • End of live dates
            • Reservations
With the timeline view it’s easy to see concurrent dates, plan new events. But actually the timeline view is buggy and with the overlapping events it’s not possible to use the Team Calendar.
We want to rollout the solution with Team Calendar together with Jira and Confluence but if this bug will not be fixed soon and also the performance issue (https://jira.atlassian.com/i#browse/TEAMCAL-704), we have to look for another solution.
