      Summary

      Similar to https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TEAMCAL-3712

Even when the time zone is properly configured to that of the user's, the event in the series of events can't be deleted. This applies across all calendars in our instance. They appear to delete at the time of the action, but refreshing the page shows that the events is still there. There are no errors in the front or the back end, even with DEBUG logging for Team Calendars.

      Workaround To Temporarily Correct Issue*

      1. Log in Confluence
      2. Go to Team Calendars
      3. Select "Week" from the tabs to make the events easier to read
      4. Click on the event you are trying to delete and drag the event to an earlier time (e.g 30 minutes before)
      5. Try to delete the event we just moved
      6. You will likely get an error. You can ignore this error for now.
      7. Refresh the page and the event will be automatically moved back to it's original spot
      8. You should now be able to delete any of your calendars and events.

Note: This is not a permanent workaround and the issue has been seen to re-surface after a few days. We recommend to upgrade Team Calendars to 5.3.11 for a permanent fix.

Also, the workaround is not working for us.

I'd also like to know when 5.3.11 will be released. This issue is still making calendar management difficult within my organization.

Just my two cents... we're hosting Jira and Confluence by ourselves and are facing the same problem here. We'd highly appreciate a solution for this. Being able to delete a single event out of a series is a calendar's key feature for what we're paying a lot of money. Unfortunately the log file doesn't say anything about this. Shall we raise a support ticket?
