      Problem Definition

TOC macro shows the user profile macro as heading 2 as user macro is formatted as h2 in HTML. This leads to TOC macro showing the user profile heading 2

      Suggested Solution

Improve the user macro not to show on TOC macro as h2  format or be automatically excluded on TOC macro

[CONFSERVER-46234] Table of Content integration with User profile macro

            Hi!

We have this problem too and it is recognized as bug by atlassian, see CONFSERVER-82446 Table of Contents Macro includes User Profile Macro in the list - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.

You can report there as a Affected Customer.

            Best regards Juergen

There is only one very weak workaround: Open "Table of Contents" Makro and exclude Headings.
Example for above screenshot: You need to enter the name of the person:

            .*admin*

            Notice upper and lower case.

You can enter only one user into the exclude field. If there are more than one user macros on the page, I have not found a way to enter more than one user.

Very much still an issue. Please fix that. Probably not intentional, right?!

This is still an issue for our users, is there any word on a solution?

Could be easily fixed by Atlassian if they change the Makro output from

            <h4>User Name</h4>

            to

            <strong>User Name</stong>

Would probably take about 10min for engineers including check-in and code review, but with Atlassians way of priorization it will probably take 10 Years
