    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

Currently, Confluence is not being able to understand the LDAP connection string. eg:

      jdbc:oracle:thin:@ldap://myldap:4060/jira00,cn=Oracle,dc=example,dc=com

As a system Administrator, I would like to use the ldap string, so that the true server name aren't in the string so if they change something, no application changes would need to be made.
