Synchrony is not shut down in stop-confluence.sh script.

When using confluence standalone, and the start-confluence/stop-confluence.sh scripts, synchrony is not stopped/checked.

We need to update the scripts to kill the PID when killing confluence, and also to check that synchrony is not already running when trying to start confluence.

Workaround:
Kill synchrony manually before starting confluence.
