Steps to reproduce

1. Create a page
2. Insert PDF file using PDF Macro that has accented characters like éàèäô. For example string:

Résultats du questionnaire « Bien être des salariés

Attached in sample file that can be use to reproduce the problem. 

Chef de projet- Bilan septembre 2016.pdf

Expected Behaviour

Confluence shows all characters. 

Actual Behaviour

The special characters are missing. 

Workaround

Since PDF Macro will be deprecated soon, use the File Preview Macro instead. To update the existing macro, refer to existing KB article at How to replace old View File macros with new File Preview Macro
