Summary
Sometimes, at random, when a user inserts text into a page in Confluence followed by a link (created via 'Insert Link), if the user saves the page and goes back into edit mode, the page will convert the text next to the link into hyperlink format, with a nonexistent link.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a new page in Confluence and add 10-20 lines of text (doesn't have to be more than a few words), followed by a link created via 'Insert Link' macro.
- Publish page
- Go back into Edit mode. Some of the text next to links should now be blue and underlined.
- If this doesn't happen, add more text and links and repeat.
Expected Results
Links should be added and the rest of the text should remain normal.
Actual Results
Other text is converted into a hyperlink format
Notes
Screenshot attached.
Workaround
Delete incorrectly formatted text and re-type it, or copy and paste the correctly formatted text after deleting hyperlink formatted text.
