Provide an option to include attachments inside PDF instead of linking it

      There is tool that can embed attachment inside PDF
      search for attach_files

      But please review if there is licensing issue with pdftk (which use itext5,

      It seems the old version of pdftk (based on itext2) may not have the licensing issue.
      BTW, the 'old' pdftk becomes pdftk-server now, which seems to be GPL but have licensing terms for commercial use..... https://www.pdflabs.com/docs/pdftk-license/

      FYI, tcpdf (php) is another library that can attach files into pdf

            Hello,

            We need to export confluence pages to Word including the attachments documents because we need to share documents with non confluence users and we need to save pages and documents as proofs in an external storage system.

            The exporting to PDF or in a Word format including the attachment is very good because it saves lot of time when i need to export and download each document and if i have many that will be a headache,

            Ridhy, I did the test as a POC (to show that it is possible to attach a file inside a PDF).
            When you open the PDF in acrobat reader, it is possible to save the embedded attachment.
            The POC did not involve Confluence.

            pdftk could do it since year 2008 (could be earlier)

            The attachment is a demo.

            I had add the attachment to the PDF by pdftk.

            The screen capture shows that inside acrobat reader DC, the user can save the powerpoint attachment.
