Summary
Unable to Display JIRA Issue Macro in Confluence when highlighted text originates in an included pgae via the Page Include macro
The following in displayed in Confluence and the link to the JIRA Issue is not inserted on the page:
<JIRAISSUE> has been created, but there is a problem in adding it to the page. You can manually add it later using JIRA macro. by highlighting a Hyperlink text
Steps to Reproduce
- Ensure Confluence is connected to JIRA and at least one project is created in JIRA
- Create a new Confluence page (e.g. Page1)
- Enter any text on this page.
- Create a second Confluence page (e.g. Page2)
- Add a Page Include macro and add Page1 as the source. This should display the content of Page1 on Page2.
- Highlight any word in Page2 that originates from Page1.
- Click JIRA Icon and attempt to create a JIRA issue
- The warning happens.
Expected Results
The issue is added on the JIRA side and the link is added to the Confluence page next to the word that was highlighted.
Actual Results
The link is not added on the Confluence page even though the issues is created on the JIRA side.
Workaround
-Add the link in manually by editing the page
