Confluence Shows wrong Result for values from Version type field

XMLWordPrintable

      Issue Summary

When a user imports a filter from JIRA to a confluence page using the JIRA Macro, if the filter contains values from a custom field of type Version Picker from JIRA, confluence shows the wrong data.

      Steps to Replicate

      In JIRA

      1. Create a custom field of type version picker(multi versions).
      2. Associate with a screen.
      3. Create a ticket in the project which uses the screen the field was associated with and enter a value in the field.
      4. Go to the search issue page in JIRA and search for the newly created issue.
<custom field created in step 1> is not empty

      5. Save the filter.

      In Confluence

      1. Create a new issue
      2. Select insert > JIRA Macro
      3. filter ="name of filter in JIRA"
      4. Select the field with the value to be  displayed in the Columns to Display field.
      5. Save this.

      Expected Result

The result in confluence would show the same result as JIRA.

      Actual Result

Confluence seems to show the fields database reference.

      Workaround

      • Use a Select list (multi select) custom field type instead of a version picker.
