      Atlassian Update 16-09-2024

      Dear Customers,

Thank you for your interest in this suggestion.

I’ve taken a look at this issue and have added a workaround to the description that shows how to best track analytics events in Confluence DC. If this workaround does not fit your use case then please add a comment to this issue to help us understand if you attempted implementing the workaround then what the feature gaps are. This will help us narrow down exactly your needs, and if we’re able to fulfil them.

As always, to learn more about our recent investments in Confluence Data Center, please check our public roadmap and our dashboards containing recently resolved issues, and current work and future plans.

      Kind regards,

      Michael Andreacchio

      Problem Definition

Currently, Global Activity will only show usage stats for top articles but doesn't provide the ability to track Confluence Page Views of a certain page.

      Suggested Solution

Provide ability to track Confluence Page Views

      Workaround

The Analytics feature in Confluence DC mostly covers this requirement by offering a way to view page/blog analytics within spaces, it also allows for the export of these analytics into Excel files for further data analysis, see our documentation for further details. We acknowledge that due to database size and scalability concerns, customers may wish to limit the number of retained analytics events tracked on their production database, if this is the case we encourage the use of Confluence's Data Pipeline feature which can export these events into a data platform of your choosing for later analysis.
