Problem Definition

Site administrators cannot disable the All Updates or Popular tabs that appear on the dashboard.

Suggested Solution

Provide the ability to disable this functionality in the General Configuration section.

Workaround

• In Confluence Server, administrators could create custom CSS to hide it or use a theme. (See How do I hide "All Updates" or "Popular" function from the Dashboard.).
• To skip the dashboard altogether, you can set a space home page as the landing page for the entire site (See Configuring the Site Home Page).
