    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

We have the business requirement to run confluence behind multiple reverse proxies. (one for internal target audience, one for external target audience, ...)

There are two restrictions within confluence which prevent this:

      1)
CSRF-protection requires the definition of ONE proxyName in Server.xml

      https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/after-upgrading-confluence-you-are-unable-to-create-new-pages-or-spaces-785457379.html
      https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/proxying-atlassian-server-applications-with-apache-http-server-mod_proxy_http-806032611.html

      2)
Confluence forces the admin to define ONE Server Base URL.
      https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf59/configuring-the-server-base-url-792499673.html

We´d like to see a future enhancement which allows us to run confluence behind multiple reverse proxies.

[CONFSERVER-43178] Confluence behind multiple reverse proxies

We have the same issue and so also very interested that the problem will be fixed.

I created two connectors for the revproxies in Confluence server.xml. But this does not work with Collaborative Edititing.

+1 from our side. We need to make separate spaces within a single Confluence site available to different target groups using an easy to remember URL for each.

Would be glad to hear if someone found a solution in the meantime.
