    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

To help us bring you new Confluence Server versions faster, we are considering only providing 64-bit installers. Confluence 5.10 would be the last Confluence release to provide a 32-bit installer.

If you installed Confluence using the 32-bit installer on a 64-bit operating system, you will be able to upgrade using the 64-bit installer.

If you are not able to use the 64-bit installer we'd love to hear from you to better understand how this change would impact you. Please comment on this issue to provide details of your situation for consideration.

Atlassian Update as of 1 September 2016

Thank you for your input on this issue. The have decided that we will proceed with removing 32-bit installer from 6.0. If you are using a 32-bit operating system, it will still be possible to install/upgrade via the ZIP and TAR.GZ archives, however without the convenience of an installer.

      Regards,
      Confluence Product Management
