Description
Summary
Similar to CONF-37770, administrators are forced to create a space upon login, after a Confluence upgrade to 5.9.x. Note that this does not happen on 5.8.x though.
Environment
Confluence upgrade to 5.9.x
Steps to Reproduce
- Install Confluence 5.5.x (for example), and login with your admin account. Make sure that there are no tutorial prompts
- Proceed to upgrade to 5.9.x . Notice that you will be forced to create a space before you can access the dashboard
Expected Results
- Welcome Screen appears, with ability to skip the walkthrough entirely
Actual Results
- In actuality, there's no way to skip the walkthrough. Regular users can just walk through the tutorial, but admins have to create a space to complete it.
Workaround
At this point, the only way through the tutorial is to complete it.
