Accessing the URL of an attachment as annonymous gives a 404 instead of a login screen

      If a user receives an link in their email to a confluence attachment and they happen to not be logged in they will get a 404 page instead of being redirected to a login screen. This problem does not happen with links to regular pages.

      I see from the following ticket that this issue will be resolved in 1.5R2:

      Are there any plans to issue a patch for 1.4.2 or is an upgrade required to get this resolved?
