Description
Steps to Replicate
- Edit and Confluence Existing page and Save it.
- Navigate to Confluence Dashboard > All Updates
Expected behaviour
The page recently edited timeline will be display in All Updates immediatedly as (Updated a minute ago)
Actual Behaviour
The page is not displayed in the All Updates immediately. After an hour, the page appear in All Updates but the recently edited timeline shows (Updated a minute ago) while we can see (last modified about an hours ago) from the page.
PS: This issue appears intermittently.
Possible cause
Internet Explorer caching the JSON data which seems to be a pretty well-known issue with developers in IE.
Workaround
- Access Confluence by using Chrome and Firefox
- Or, in Internet Explorer
- Go to Cog Menu > Internet Options
- General Tab, Click Settings
- Select "Every time I visit the page" (it will always include "Cache-control: no-cache")
- Click OK
- Click OK
