Page jumps to top when copying and pasting text

I'm currently in the process of creating a very large document in Confluence (online v5.5.6), which contains lot's of different sections. When I copy and paste text into a section, the page jumps up and I have to scroll back down to where I was last. As you can imagine this is extremely annoying as I'm currently having to copy and paste a very large amount of information.

The browser I use is Chrome (v44.0.2403.157 m). Please can you advise if there is a fix?
