Autowatch Feature not Working

I recently created a confluence page that is used by each of the members on my team to update for our weekly status review. I have continued to receive emails of any changes or uploaded files to the site. At first, I would simply "unwatch" the page, but I kept getting put on the watch list. I researched the issue and found that I needed to disable the Autowatch feature under my Profile's email settings. This has not fixed my issue, as I continue to be added to the watch list and receive emails. Other team members complain of the same issue. Thank you for your help.
