We have the same problem and this is very very frustrating. From my perspective it makes confluence for documentation useless.

• The macro attachment is working well on the 6.6.0 instance
• The macro attachment is showing this bug on the 6.6.2 instance

Adam, soon this issue will be 2 years since it has been reported.

And it's weird to have documentation with this feature but in fact it doesn't work.

There are several major confluence version were released since start of this issue.

I'd love to see priority of this raised.

I've got users having to download documents, when all they need to do is a have a quick look via preview.

Extra clicks and having to open Word, take from the efficiency we want to provide with Confluence.
