Description
Summary
On Confluence 5.9.x, when on a page that requires scrolling to see the end, the header bar (Confluence, Spaces, People, Browse, Create) stays along the top of the page when you scroll. However, when the Table of Contents Zone or Roadmap Planner macro is added to the page, when scrolling, the bar does not stay along the top of the page but scrolls like the rest of the content. This has been verified to be the case when using the default them. When using the documentation theme, the header bar stays along the top of the screen when scrolling.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Confluence page with enough content that you will need to scroll to see the end of it
- Scroll to the bottom and notice that the top bar stays locked to the top of the page
- Add a Table of Contents Zone or Roadmap Planner macro to the top of the page (you do not need to set any variables in the macro)
- Scroll again, and notice that top bar is missing when scrolling down.
Expected Results
We would expect to see the top bar remain locked to the top regardless of the macros on the page
Actual Results
When the Table of Contents Zone or Roadmap Planner Macro is added, the top bar scrolls with the content and disappears as the page scrolls
Notes
This is only an issue on the default theme. When using the documentation theme, the top bar remains locked as expected. I am testing on my vanilla Confluence instance with no added plugins or themes.
Solution / Workaround
Don't use the Table of Contents Zone or Roadmap Planner macro
