Tasks in a table

      Problem Definition

      When the Confluence Task is placed within a table cell, it will only recognise text and user mentions only within that table cell and next to the task itself.

      Suggested Solution

      It would be useful for the Task macro to recognise that it is within a table and include whole table row into the task body so these are visible in Task Reports, properly searchable and can be assigned to people.
      Managing tasks in a table is the desired alternative to lists, at the moment, tasks can only be viewed in a table via Task Report Macro.

            Without this enhancement, task items offer limited value. It would be good to have them aligned in a traditional table for better readability.

            This is a much desired addition. The task feature seriously lacks table compatibility as proposed in this item. This would enable much better workflow, readability and ultimately usability. Please add this
