Confluence Source Editor 1.1.2 stopped working in Confluence 5.9.1

      Summary

      Although the source editor plugin can be installed, when trying to edit the source code of a page I receive the following error:

      Environment

      • Confluence 5.9.1-OD-2015.47
      • Confluence Source editor 1.1.2

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Install Confluence 5.9.1-OD-2015.47 or above
      2. Install Confluence source editor from the UPM

      Expected Results

      1. When editing a page, you can click on <> to edit source code

      Actual Results

      See attached image. Even if you paste the source code and click on 'Apply' nothing happens.

      Might be related to Plugins 4

      This was tested in Confluence 5.9.1-OD-2015.39.1-0001 with no issue.

            Hi roy.lu, I just checked Confluence Source Editor 1.1.3 with Confluence 5.10.2 . it worked fine. could you download the latest version of the add-on please and let us know if you have any more hassles. Thanks

            Hi, 

            Our Confluence version is 5.10.2. However, when I click the source editor button as I am editing a page in Confluence, a window pops up with the following message:

            The source editor requires Confluence 4.1.5 or greater.

            Any idea why and how to fix this?

            I'm afraid this is not a bug, more of a update request.

            The Marketplace listing for this plugin https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.confluence.plugins.editor.confluence-source-editor/server/reviews the supported versions of Confluence are 5.0 - 5.8.17.

            Given its popularity, we are currently looking into the possibility of updating the plugin. Stay tuned.
