    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

Currently when you create a SMTP or POP server in Confluence, the account details (username, password etc) are stored as plaintext in the database.

We should encrypt/decrypt these passwords to provide some protection from casual observers.
