Viewxls macro does not use its parameters 'no grid', 'max number of rows' etc

How to reproduce:
Create an excel sheet and upload to Confluence into an existing page.
Add a viewxls macro to display the page.Save the page, and edit again.
edit the macro. unset the option "no grid" and specify the maximum numbers of rows and/or columns.
None of these has any impact. Grid is still shown, and the displayed Excel sheet is shown larger than specified. (extra rows and columns)

I found the same issue in Jira, see CONF-16902 . But it was reported on Confluence 3.1 and assumed to be fixed.
