Summary
Attaching a file with double quotes (") in name yields different filename
Environment
- Confluence Cloud version 5.9.1-OD-2015.40.1-0001
- Firefox version 40.0.3
- Chrome version 45.0.2454.85
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a page with any data. Add the Attachment macro
- Add attachment with filename with double quotes (eg: test"Chrome".pdf) by uploading to page (...), Choose file and Attach
Expected Results
Filename uploaded same like original file in Attachment macro
Actual Results
Filename changed to ".pdf (FireFox)
Filename change (") to %22, example: test "this".pdf > test %22this%22.pdf (Chrome)
Workaround
- Drag & Drop files to the designated Drag & Drop area
- Upload while in Edit page
