      NOTE: This bug report is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding bug report.

      The generic viewfile macro does not show any attachments and cannot be used with the macro browser.

      1. Add a .doc file as an attachment to a page
      2. Edit the page
      3. Type {view and wait for the autocomplete dialog to appear
      4. Select View File
      5. The "Insert 'View File' macro" does not list the .doc file attachment.
