      I've noticed an increase in the number of customers complaining of performance issues with the latest Confluence versions 5.6 and onwards. Most of these are resolved by increasing the connection pool size as stated here

      I would like to raise this improvement request since it seems that the current c3p0 size is becoming insufficient and increasing the default to 60 can help with many performance issues related to the connection resource pool starvation.
