Summary
When updating a Confluence space permissions In IE 11 the following error is raised:
The following error(s) occurred:
•Your request could not be processed because a required security token was not present in the request. You may need to re-submit the form or reload the page.
Environment
- Windows 8.1 pro
- IE 11
- tested on multiple updates of IE 11 Most recent version tested: 11.0.900617937
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to Space permissions
- Edit permissions
- Attempt to add or remove any permissions
- Save
Expected Results
- Permissions updated
Actual Results
A User or group will be added with no permissions set if new user is being added but no permissions can be changed
The error pops up in UI:
The following error(s) occurred: •Your request could not be processed because a required security token was not present in the request. You may need to re-submit the form or reload the page.
Multiple errors in JS console error in IE developer tools relating to:
- File: doeditdefaultspacepermissions.action
- Noting IE Code has disabled caching linking to MS article on Back navigation caching

Workaround
Use Chrome or firefox latest stable version
