Copy and Paste Text from Command Prompt into Confluence Editor Strips Out the Newline of the Text

      Summary

      When copying text from Command Prompt or Putty, after pasting it to Confluence editor, the newline of the text are removed. As the result, few lines will become one line. Please refer to ObservedBehaviour.png

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Access Confluence from IE11 and create a Confluence page.
      2. Copy the following text (This text is copied from Windows Command prompt)

        id | cfname
        ------+----------------------
        10100 | Customer Request Type
        10101 | Request participants
        10102 | Time to resolution
        10000 | test
        (4 rows)

      3. Paste it to the Confluence editor in the newly added page.

      Workaround

      1. As this issue does not affect Mozilla Firefox 38.0.5 and also Google Chrome version 43.0.2357.124, you may use one of these browsers as a workaround.
      2. You may also try to use Noformat macro as a workaround of this bug.
