The basic use-case is to allow anonymous access to a single page within an otherwise restricted space. See: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/95242/how-to-grant-anonymous-access-only-to-a-single-page-in-confluence

Currently you can only restrict pages, but you can't explicitly grant permissions.

Note: This issue seems to differ from CONFSERVER-7089 only in phrasing, but since it has acquired substantial votes, it won't be closed as a duplicate.

This is a critical feature for organizations to be able to promote widespread adoption. We have many instances of single users needing access to a page where we are documenting issues, or needing input, for example, but where they should absolutely not have access to the other pages in the space. Why is this such a challenge to implement?

why has this not been done? it's very annoying - Notion might be the better bet?

I'm literally switching my team to Notion because this has been so long since being requested and still not implemented. So long Confluence, it was fun while it lasted.

Can we get an update on this, it is a very basic functionality that is not present in a collaboration tool which is very surprising.

Just implemented Confluence in our company and this is a deal breaker. Likely going to move to other documentation platform. So stupid.

It's major bug for our company as well. We have 600 employees, and lack of this obvious function will be a strong point to move from Atlassian to other service.

Like many companies trying to work from home, and work collaboratively with partners, this feature, or lack thereof, is going to be what drives us to look for an alternative to Confluence.

Can we vote twice for this feature?
