I'm in serious need of this.  It feels like a significant oversight to only allow the admins of your space to create and maintain templates.  Templates are an extremely helpful feature to create quality content, yet they are only accessible to a small audience.  I find myself giving admin access to space members solely because I want/need them to have template capabilities.

I am getting a request for this as well.

Is there a more recent update on this request? We have a strong need for this feature as well.

A use case we're seeing for this is, a Template that applies for 5 spaces/groups out of the 50 we have. So we either need to duplicate the template in each of the 5 spaces or make the template global, and clutter all 50 spaces. So it'd be nice to be able to create a global template, but either restrict it to those 5 spaces or to certain groups.

I have created page templates for each team in our space. I only want each group of team members to view the templates that apply to them. So this feature would be great if we can restrict Templates to users or groups.

Example: template A is used by Team A only. Group Team A should be granted permission to view Template A in the Create dialog box. Template B is used by Team B only. Group Team B should be granted permission to view Template B in the Create dialog box. Team B group members should not see Template A and vice versa.
