      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Confluence should be able to identify valid emails when an user signs up for a new account. There should be a reciprocal link that would confirm the email from a newer user and proceed with the account creation.
