Summary
If a user watches a space (and not a page directly), and an attachment is added to a page, there is no notification email sent.
Steps to Reproduce
- Install Confluence 5.7.x
- Setup the mail server
- Create a space with user A
- Watch the space with user B
- Create a page with user A
- User B will receive a notification email
- Go to ... > Attachments with user A
- Upload an attachment to the page with user A
Expected Results
User B will receive an email notification of the new attachment
Actual Results
User B does not receive an email notification of the new attachment
Notes
- This does work as expected in Confluence 5.6.x.
- There are no emails stuck in the mail queue
- There are no errors in the logs generated from this event
