Search returns unexpected results

I was looking for information on page restrictions. I found this page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Page+Restrictions.

That page indicated it was for Confluence 5.7. Our company instance has 5.6.6. So I clicked on the link for earlier versions of the docs: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/ALLDOC/Confluence+Documentation+Directory, then then link for the 5.6.6 docs: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF56.

So far, so good. The top of the page says 'Documentation for Confluence 5.6.', and the search box near the bottom of the page says 'Search for a page – the search field shows results from this space only.'

I'm assuming that 'this space only' means the 5.6 docs that I've chosen previously.

So I search for "Page Restrictions", which then returns me to the page I started out on: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Page+Restrictions, which is clearly for 5.7.

It appears that the search should be limiting to the selected documentation version, but it isn't.
