I received this error when trying to link Excel to my Confluence pag; Error rendering macro 'viewxls' : com.benryan.conversion.ConversionException: com.aspose.cells.CellsException: Not a numeric value in Cell B1

If this bug is successfully resolved, I can test functionalities with the table and hopefully replicate it for other teams in my department.

Confluence 6.0.7 also has similar issue. The error is the following:

Error rendering macro 'viewxls' : com.benryan.conversion.ConversionException: java.lang.ClassCastException: com.aspose.cells.ny cannot be cast to java.lang.Double

I too am having the same issue while using Confluence version 6.0.3.

I have the 'Attachment' macro set up on my page showing my attached excel spreadsheets.

When I click the 'View' button in the 'Attachment' macro of one of my excel spreadsheets, I get the error.

What I am doing to work around this is by clicking the 'Edit in Office' button and it opens up in my Microsoft Excel for me to view.

This is assuming the computer already has Microsoft Excel installed and the compatible browser.

Please fix this issue as it can become a disaster during presentational meetings!
