Comment from customer: "On a largish page or multi-page space I can imagine "unresolved comments" getting lost. Need a queue or report of some sort, like with Tasks."

Request to be able to aggregate and track all unresolved file comments (e.g. on a page, in a space) in a single view. This could potentially also include unresolved page comments, tasks, etc.

[CONFSERVER-36602] Ability to report on unresolved file comments

Hi, the new app is nice, but this really feels like a product gap. I am allowed to make comments but the platform does not provide effective tools for managing those comments in aggregate. I would ask that this be moved into the Confluence Server offering.

The See All Unresolved Comments Marketplace app is now available for Confluence Server, so now there's an easier way to see whether your pages have unresolved inline comments (both page and attachment comments), and it also includes search, page comment overview, and generating a report for all unresolved comments in all pages underneath the current one.

Would be great if the "Page properties report" had a checkbox for "Show Unresolved Comment Count" in addition to "Show Comment Count".  Frankly, the "Show Comment Count" checkbox is useless if you have no idea how many of those have yet to be resolved.

For those on Cloud, an addon was recently released that might fit your needs:

            See All Unresolved Comments

Not only can you see how many unresolved inline comments are in a page, but you can also search (run a report) to see all unresolved comments filtered by space and/or commenting user. For longer pages, there's also an overview report that shows just the headings and the commented text, so you can get a quick overview of what's on any particular page.

Meanwhile, we can get along with the SQL Stephen posted on Is it possible to list all unresolved comments in a space, but this is only a crutch.

We do not need this for comments on files only, but for inline comments in general.

            Use Case:
We are providing our online product documentation via Confluence. To do this in a controlled way, we are using the Scroll Versions add-on of k15t.
Once a documentation version is ready, we're going through a review loop that results in lots of inline comments. These comments mark pages where something still has to be fixed. Only if all inline comments are resolved, the documentations can be published.
At the moment, there's no way to find out, if there are still open comments.

Would be great to have this – otherwise very easy to lose track of comments that have been made, especially within spaces with many wiki pages.

Frankly, not having this seriously diminishes the value of the "resolved" feature throughout. I would consider the larger feature incomplete without this. It is especially important if you maintain very large wikis, e.g. corporate ones. And take note, Atlassian, "very large wikis" == $$$. Please follow the money, and oh yes, implement this feature fix this bug.
