PDF Export: Images on the beginning of a page have huge white space in front

Images in a pdf export, which doesn't fit on a page are moved to the next page. With Confluence 5.7 these images have exactly the same whitepace in front, which was left blank on the page before. For large images, that can be more than half of the page. In this case the image is split on the following 2 pages.

The attachment is from a fresh space with no css styling. Sadly I didn't find any workaround for that (margin/padding has no impact as well as setting a fixed size of the picture). This bug prevents proper exports of customer documentation.
