Disable Ctrl+K to Add a Hyperlink in WYSIWYG Editor on Macs

I'm using Firefox (v35.0) on Mac OS X Mavericks (v10.9.5).

When I go to the WYSIWYG editor in Confluence – to either create a page or add a comment, Cmd+K opens the "Insert Link" modal as expected.

The problem is that Ctrl+K also opens the same modal. On Mac systems, Ctrl+K is a reserved, system-wide UNIX command that is used to delete the text entry from the cursor to the end of the line. I use it very often.

There is no need to bind both Cmd+K and Ctrl+K to the same action.

On a similar note, Ctrl+A should position the cursor at the beginning of the line (and it works), while Ctrl+E should position the cursor at the end of the line (and it doesn't work).

This is a duplicate of the original ticket I've created on the Atlassian Service Desk.
