    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server including Confluence Data Center and only specifically Aurora non-serverless. Are you looking for Aurora serverless? See the corresponding suggestion.

Amazon has developed a MySQL and postgresql compatible database server, Aurora, that is available for use as part of AWS. As there are many instances of Confluence installed in AWS, Aurora support should be added into Confluence. According to Amazon information, Aurora is designed to be compatible so that existing MySQL and PostgreSQL applications and tools can run without requiring modification.
