NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
Unless I miss something, there is still no sort capability for Confluence REST content.
According to example, API and forum, there is no sort feature at all.
The consequence of this is that when listing content it comes out oldest first, needing all history ever to be gone through in order to get to the most recent, which would be used for any kind of remote 'recent' view, which is what we want to do, (eg most recent 50 blog posts).
This improvement is for a sort capability, by field, and ascending /descending. The default field could easily by the contentId, sort order default to ASC to deliver current output, surely an afternoons work , enabling api to set sortOrder=DESC would surely be useful in a wider context?
If this is already logged somewhere (surely! but I couldn't find it), please link when marking as a duplicate.
