Whitespace after #/H1 character in markdown doesn't render

Problem:

When using the Insert Markup tool while in edit mode of Confluence. If there's a whitespace after a H1 hash character, #, text will not render.

Duplication Steps:

1. Enter edit mode for a Confluence page
2. Select the Markup tool from the under Insert menu
3. Select Markdown above the Insert text box
4. Place the following text:

   # Image Demo/Product/Newsworty Stuff
   * NSFW Image classifier
   * Age classifier
   * Selfie classifier
   
   
   # Text 
   

5. Preview side will then display:

   # Image Demo/Product/Newsworty Stuff * NSFW Image classifier * Age classifier * Selfie classifier # Text
   

6. Move courser to line where "Text" and remove whitespace after Text
7. Preview then renders correctly
