      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      It would be very useful to be able to turn log read access, logging who has read a page and when. It would be useful to be able to turn this on and off for privacy reasons. This could be stored under the 'info' tab.

      An evolution of this feature (if resources do not permit it to be implemented the first time around) should be permissioning so that logging can be restricted to certain groups only for example.
