Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
Confluence supports the notion of hierarchy within a space only for pages, and not for blogs or mail archiving. The blog issue is noted elsewhere, but I wanted to record the suggestion of having a notion of anchoring the mail in a certain space.
Also, for enterprise use, it would be best if we could have a single email account for confluence, and it would have configuration rules (like procmail) that determines where to post the web mail archive.
For example, we would set up one account on the mail server, and subscribe it to a number of mailing lists of interest. It would be able to distinguish between mailing lists.
Right now you pretty much need to set up a pop account per mailing list in order to really partition it (or I'm missing something).
