NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
As of now, Confluence link can't process javascript input and it will convert the link into plain text which is not click-able by the users.
The only workaround is to insert a link manually with the HTML macro, but not all sites will be able to enable this macro for security reasons.

In order to set expectations, we're closing this request now. Sometimes potentially valuable tickets do get closed where the Summary or Description has not caught the attention of the community.
