creating jira issues using jira macro hangs when designating assignee

      When trying to create a jira issue using the jira issues macro in confluence, it seems to hang when trying to choose an Assignee.
      A couple things to note:

      • I've already tried re-creating the app links between confluence and jira (multiple times)
      • I'm able to create jira tickets for other projects that don't show Assignee as a required field in the macro (even though it's required in Jira) - not sure why this is..

      I'm seeing the below warning in atlassian-jira.log:
